Academic Support is an area that provides
many services free of charge.

Academic Support Location
and Staff
Academic
Support Services is located in the McGee building, room 102 on the first
floor. Within the suite area are two rooms for studying, one room for
testing, and a computer area with a writing center. Tutors are available
to work with math, algebra, English, Spanish, chemistry, history, and
anatomy and physiology. Daily schedules of the qualified tutors are available
in the center. This assistance is available for no cost and helps build
the confidence and skills needed to find success in college.
Student Tutors
Work
study jobs in tutoring are available for qualified students. Anyone who
is interested in the program can obtain information from Brenda Long or
Lori Wrenn in the Student Services Center in the McGee building.
These jobs are a way of earning extra money and
sharing your knowledge in a special subject with other students.
