Cardiac Monitor Technician Certificate (CMT):
Cardiac monitor technician training provides the necessary knowledge to prepare students to work in an entry-level position analyzing a patient's heart rhythm through EKG readouts and by observing cardiac monitor screens. Technicians also review medical records to determine normal heart rhythm patterns. In order to achieve the certificate, students must complete the following courses: CPR Healthcare Provider Certification, Medical Terminology, and EKG/Cardiac Rhythms Analysis.
Medical Office Professional Certificate (MOP):
This program is intended for those who wish to gain employment in the public or private sector, including positions in the offices of private physicians, hospitals, and medical centers. To achieve this certificate you must complete 4 courses (Medical Terminology for Health Care Professionals, Medical Front Office Skills, Foundations in Medical Billing and Coding, and the Fundamentals of Electronic Health Record). Upon completion of this certificate, you’ll be ready to begin your career in an entry-level position and will qualify you to sit for the Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) exam. |
