Interlibrary Loan Service

The Interlibrary Loan service (ILL) allows you to borrow books from other libraries through CCC library. It can take approximately 10 business days to receive a loan through ILL. To order magazine articles, books, or microfilm through Interlibrary Loan, you will need to fill out the appropriate ILL form. These are available at the Circulation Desk. Be sure to indicate any deadlines you may have on your form. The library will call you when your materials arrive.
For more information about our Interlibrary Loan Service, please contact Annette Davis at 252-222-6194 or jad@carteret.edu.

You can use WorldCat to find books in libraries around the world. Just type the title, subject or author in the search box below.

ILL Fees and Fines
Carteret Community College Library charges an upfront fee of $3 per request before the request can be processed. If the request cannot be filled, this fee is nonrefundable. When the request is filled, the patron will be charged a $2 filled request fee. Some lending libraries charge for loans or photocopies, and we must pass these charges along to the patron. So be prepared to tell us how much you are willing to spend. We do charge .75¢ per day per item for overdue interlibrary loans. We also charge a replacement cost for any lost materials. The replacement cost is determined by the lending library.
