Chief Information OfficerAlizé Proisy began her career as Carteret Community College’s Director of Public Information in December of 2014.

The purpose of the Public Information Officer is to release accurate and timely information to the media, the public, students, staff and faculty during emergencies as well as the day-to-day activities of Carteret Community College.

Alizé also serves as the liaison between Carteret Community College and the public by writing news releases, answering questions from the media and arranging interviews with Carteret Community College employees.  The public information officer also produces printed, photographic and video material about the organization.  Alizé helps organize special events and maintain a social media and web presence.  She also attends and documents special events, graduations, and pinnings at Carteret Community College.

Alizé  is originally from Paris, France, and moved to the United States for middle and high school.  She attended the University of Minnesota and l’Université Paris-Sorbonne for her degrees in broadcast journalism, French and a minor in Golf.  Because of her dual citizenship and French language skills, Alizé works closely with The Goellner Exchange.  The program sends the College’s top culinary students to France for an internship working with renowned French chefs.   Alizé serves as the liaison between France and Carteret Community College.  She also prepares the students for their trip by teaching them French language and culture.

Alizé is no stranger to the Carteret community as she covered the area as a television news reporter for both WITN and WCTI for six years.

Alizé can be reached at proisya@carteret.edu.
