Summertime is a terrific time for kids to try new things, harness their imagination and make new friends. Carteret Community College invites middle school and high school students to participate in this year’s exciting summer enrichment sessions which offer opportunities to experience a college campus, acquire new skills, and consider numerous career paths, all while having fun! This summer CCC offers several opportunities for learning, engagement and discovery.


Baking Summer Camp

    Details: This camp is perfect for the aspiring young baker. Familiarizes students with operating in a professional kitchen.
    Helps prepare students for our high school programs: Pro Start & Food Services Technologies.

Computer Programming Summer Camp

Computer Camp
Do you like the Newest Technology Gadgets, Video Games, Graphics, Graphic Design/Art, Video Blogging, Social Media, Leadership, or maybe helping others make decisions? If yes, explore options in Computer Programming at: CCC’s 4th Annual: Technology Summer Camp. This camp is designed to support the Career and Technical Education Pathway Program offered to local high school students, earning college credit while in High School.
This camp is designed for rising 6th to 12th grade students who wishes to explore this career pathway.
This camp features:

  • Computer Art and Graphic Design
  • Game Development using the PYTHON programming language
  • Compete in the annual Mario Kart tournament
  • Lunch and snacks
  • PC take apart and rebuilding
  • ***No prior programming or computer hardware experience required.***
    June 17-20 (Monday – Thursday)

Emergency Services Camp 911

911 Summer Camp
Emergency Services Camp offering hands-on experiences within the public Safety field. The 911 camp will introduce participants to careers in law enforcement, firefighting, EMS and emergency telecommunications. This camp focuses on learning about our diverse criminal justice system, discipline, self-esteem, teamwork, drug and alcohol education, gang identification, violence prevention, firefighting, emergency medical care and many other issues facing today’s youth. Participants will study fingerprinting, crime scene investigations, evidence collection, basic first aid, CPR, fire safety and participate in various physical fitness exercises. They will also meet local fire fighters, EMTs and law enforcement officers through various field trips to the Police Station, 911 Communications Center, EMS Station, and Fire & Rescue Department. Limited Space available

  • Day 1 – Rescue Day
  • Day 2 – Fire Day
  • Day 3 – EMS Day
  • Day4 – Law Enforcement Day

Criminal and Forensic Investigations Camp

Criminal Justice Summer Camp
The goal of the camp is to bring learning about forensic investigations to life by putting our campers in charge of processing a crime scene, solving a crime. We will teach them the skills they need to conduct an investigation and  conduct the investigative process.
