Carteret Community College offers programs
of study in freshman-sophomore general education. By taking day and
night classes, citizens of Carteret County and surrounding areas may
complete general education requirements toward a bachelors degree by
enrolling on a full-time or part-time basis. Courses may also transfer
through bilateral agreements between institutions.
The Associate in Arts degree shall be granted
for a minimum of 64 semester hours of approved college transfer courses.
Within the degree program, the institution shall include opportunities
for the achievement of competence in reading, writing, oral communication,
fundamental mathematical skills, and the basic use of computers.
