Working on a computer The Computer Information Technology program prepares graduates for emplyoment with any organization that uses computers to process, manage, and communicate information.

Course work will develop your ability to communicate complex technical issues related to computer hardware, software, and networks in a manner that computer users can understand.

Intro to Computers class in session

Classes cover computer operations, repair, and terminology, operating systems and other software installation and configuration, databases, networking, security, and technical support.

Faculty members: Tom Edwards, Donna Jones.

Students who complete the AAS for this program can transfer up to 53 hours toward a Bachelors' degree in Information and Computer Technology at East Carolina University.
