The Web Technologies program prepares graduates for careers which depend on the power of the web to send and receive information.

Course work in this program covers that terminology and use of computers, network devices, servers, and databases. You'll learn programming languages such as HTML, JavaScript, PHP, and others. Courses in graphics and multimedia will give you the ability to create visually appealing sites.

Graduates will qualify for career opportunities as designers, administrators, or developers in the areas of web applications, websites, web services, and related Internet industries.

Students who complete the AAS for this program can transfer up to 53 hours toward a Bachelors' degree in Information and Computer Technology at East Carolina University.
