Facilities

The Radiography program has on-campus energized labs which include a fully functional, modern x-ray room with a Toshiba radiographic/fluroscopic unit, an integrated Bennet unit, and a darkroom with a Kodak automatic film processor. There is also a comprehensive array of instructional tools, accessories and instruments, computers, and instructional software and quality control.

The focus of these facilities is to provide students with opportunities for as many "hands-on" activities as possible. These activities assist the students in mastering radiographic procedures and in understanding the operation of the x-ray equipment.

Ultimately, the students learn, through doing these activities, to ask "what if?" and "why not?", and then discover the answers through analysis and critical thinking.
