SGA Student Senate

Students have a voice in decision making through the Student Senate. Members of the Student Senate include the Executive Board, elected representatives (senators) from each curriculum area and club representatives, and two ex-officio members from the Basic Skills program. In order to have their voices heard, students need to be thoroughly familiar with the representative process and the SGA Constitution.

The Student Senate meets at least twice monthly in the Student Center Conference Room at the Donald W.Bryant Student Center

Elections Committee

The Elections Committee is the grease that keeps the wheels of the SGA moving smoothly. The committee is responsible for running SGA Executive Board elections. The committee maintains and revises election code and procedures when necessary.

Each committee meets regularly. Any student is welcome to join a committee. All you need to do is attend one of the committees' meetings. Date, time and location for each meeting will be posted in the SGA Office and on the SGA activities calendar.

Entertainment/Programming Committee

The Entertainment/Programming Committee gives energy to student like through education and entertainment. The committee organizes everything from big-name concerts and performers to cultural festivals. The committee also develops educational programs through entertainment.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee creates the yearly SGA Budget and revises the policies that keep the SGA operating in a fiscally responsible way. The committee works with CCC clubs that request funding for programs, social activities & travel.
