Study Hours: 64
Students enrolling in the Associate in Fine Arts program are able to participate through traditional classroom classes and courses taught (totally or partially) online. The Associate in Fine Arts program educates students using both a creative and logical approach while incorporating a variety of innovative digital technologies. In addition to courses that transfer to a school through the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement, our students are trained in technologies that are needed in today’s job market. This two-year program introduces the students to broader ways of thinking about art and increases their creative problem solving skills. In the classroom, students study art from around the world in Art History classes. In the studio, students are exposed to both traditional forms of art like drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, design, and pottery in addition to innovative digital technologies such as Computer Art which focuses on for-print raster and vector based digital image creation, intro. to web-design, and digital-traditional fusion techniques. | |
