The Carteret Community College newspaper is called The Breakwater. This student media was established 15 years ago, and is still going strong. The Breakwater is published at least twice each fall and spring semester. The Breakwater's tag line reads, "Where the pen is mightier than the sword," it truly is. The Breakwater keeps students, faculty, and staff up to date with the latest CCC happenings.

The Breakwater Office is located in room 3111 of the Donald W. Bryant Student Center.
