Students work hands-on in this course to learn 3D modeling, create and apply realistic textures, learn lighting principles/techniques, camera types and usage, and key framing procedures. Also covers storyboards, animation, and rendering output for different mediums (film, video, Internet, etc.) and creating parts for manufacturing. Instructor, Jay Tyson has worked in the arts and entertainment industry for over 22 years, has worked for The Jim Henson Company on productions like Muppets from Space and builds/designs for movies and video productions all over the world. Computer Boot Camp (with Microsoft Office)
This course is targeted towards people who are new to computers or have limited exposure to a computer prior to taking this course. The intent of this course is to introduce computer knowledge and skill sets that a participant can acquire and then apply to tasks he/she may want to perform. Students will progress to using popular software programs to process typical documents found in any business or school environment.

Course concentrates on the successful use of a digital camera to produce professional images. Emphasis is placed on learning the features of the camera and how to properly use them, including Aperture Mode, Shutter Priority Mode and Manual Mode. Learn how to focus on the successful visual composition of your photos. Students will begin to develop a portfolio of their own personal vision. Drones for Beginners
Learn what you need to know to purchase the right drone to meet your needs. Learn how to register your drone with the FAA and the regulations you need to know to operate it legally. Students will get hands-on flight training using a Nano Quadcopter. Note: Outdoor flying is dependent on weather conditions. Please bring your drone to class if you have one.

Drones: Learn to Fly
Flying an aircraft is about maintaining control of its movement through the air. In aviation, pilots are taught to perform maneuvers to sharpen their flying skills. The same is true for Drones. In this class, learn to control your aircraft through a series of maneuvers that will build your skills. Whether you are an experienced pilot or new to drones, practicing these maneuvers and flying in different flight modes will make you not only a better pilot but also a safer pilot. Drones: Beginner Aerial Videography
Do you want to take your images to the next level? This course is tailored to help you get started on taking those amazing aerial photos and videos using multirotors (drones). You will avoid pitfalls to flying as this course will also cover the fundamentals to get you started flying, filming, and creating your first aerial video. From setting up the drone, learning the app, camera techniques, live flights, video editing and more. Note: Outdoor flying is dependent on weather conditions. Prerequisite: Experience using a drone.

Drone Pilot Ground School: FAA 107
Drones are taking off! There is money to be made around every corner with this up and coming field. Though be aware, there are rules and regulations to every aerial vehicle, and, as with certain drone vehicles, a license is required. This course will teach you the basics of FAA regulations along with experience in the air for preparation to take the test for your FAA 107 license.
