New Student Orientation
Carteret Community College wants students to be confident in their understanding of campus processes, technology, and support services. Being comfortable with how college works is important for a successful beginning to a student’s higher educational experience. Because of this, all first-time students are required to complete a New Student Orientation session, on campus or online.
Topics covered in the sessions include:
- On-line registration
- Tutoring services
- Attendance and withdrawal policy
- Student e-mail system
- Carteret Compass
- Selecting courses
- Financial Aid
New students may register for an on-campus orientation session by selecting a date/time from the calendar below and filling out the required information form, or by calling (252) 222-6060 or via email.
New students wishing to complete the online version of New Student Orientation should follow the instructions found on the Online Version of New Student Orientation page. You will need to use your Moodle login information to access the orientation. If you are not sure what your Moodle login information is, please see the Instructions for “How Do I login to Moodle?”.
